Holyhead Golf Club lies one mile from the port — an 18-hole championship course of 6,090 yards, par 71 (5,208 yards, par 72 for ladies), routed over gorse-and-heather terrain with sea glimpses that make club selection harder than it should be. The clubhouse serves bar meals and an à la carte menu for the fuller occasion.
Golfers can stay on-site: Dormy accommodation within the course grounds sleeps up to 14 in seven twin rooms — the golf-break formula ready-made, with Trearddur Bay’s beach and dinners five minutes away and the ferry equally close for visiting Irish societies. Tee times and green fees direct with the club; more activity ideas in Things to Do.
